Yes. Realistically, however, I would guess that fewer than 1% of ClamAV users would ever try an RC version for various reasons ranging from lack of non-production hardware to lack of time. (Can someone with access to download statistics confirm this?) We do many beta releases of our software and *ALWAYS* get hit by a few bugs when we do the major release. We suck it up and make a new minor release quickly; I think ClamAV team should do the same.
