To make the things clear: we have no plans for releasing 0.93.2 as it would affect our schedule for 0.94. The problem you're facing could get fixed in 0.93.1 if more people gave it a try. Unfortunately, this issue depends on the zlib version installed (only some versions are affected) in the system that's why we couldn't reproduce it on our test boxes. The development version uses a different method for handling .cld files and it's not affected by this problem. The best I can do for you is to create a patch against 0.93.1 which will replace the current code for handling database files with the one from clamav-devel -- oo .....
