But I was trying to figure out what dbx was that ran on Linux, not Solaris. At this point I'm going to have to resign myself to a head-slap on this one. My best guess is that with so many years of Solaris experience (I just switched to FreeBSD early last year) I read the wrong section, but when I went looking for it remembered I wasn't on solaris any more.
