Nothing is different other than the hostname of the system and the password assigned. These systems are build cookie-cutter. >> 2. bacula traceback documentation is incorrect and out of date > > Contributed patches are always reviewed. > >> 3. bacula traceback apparently only works on linux due to >> undocumented dependancies > > Again, patches eagerly awaited. You don't get it. I can't figure out how this is supposed to work because it requires libraries that I can't find any documentation for on the internet/google AT ALL. I have requested information on the missing libraries and nobody has provided any. I would happily contribute revised documentation, but I haven't the vaguest clue where to find these libraries or how this is supposed to work. >> About one in every 12 messages actually reaches the list, so >> >> 4. So the fact that nobody with a firewall on their network can post to the list isn't a problem for you? Dozens of people have complained, and you guys just don't care? > If you are looking for paid support for Bacula, I am sure there are > people that will take your money and deal with you. But you have > rights. Nobody is obligated to you. I'm not looking for paid support, I'm looking for ANY support. I have an apparent misunderstanding that bacula was a ongoing project with people who cared about the quality of the product. I am more than happy to contribute to that process - as I have contributed to a great many other projects - but I've getting zero support in this. I can't even get a simple answer on what library is used by the traceback module so that I can find it, compile it, and get traceback working. FYI: and thanks for being a sarcastic sob. There's nothing better about open source than the fact that you have 10 sobs for every one of us who actually does work. -- Jo Rhett senior geek Silicon Valley Colocation ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
