My question was why did e come forward when e didn't have to? Even if the
scam had worked, once we know about it we could just boot that "first-class"
zombie out by proposal. By coming forward, e gave us a scam that showed
that self-ratification-of-identity is broken in some way maybe, and at
most gave emself a "zombie" for a few weeks. By keeping quiet e could
have caused another Annabel-level crisis. (E didn't propose a fix emself,
so I'm not excusing it here, just exploring mitigating circumstances).
