For the purpose of allowing fair participation, we normally use 96
hours (e.g. dependent actions), not 72.  The only 72-hour timings I
see in the current rules are the post-holiday grace period
(irrelevant) and the timing requirement for an official apology (which
applies to only one person, who should be expecting it).
