However, they should be offered that based on performance, not just simply 
because.  Performance is the key indicator, there are LOTS of GREAT GREAT 
teachers out there, and they should be paid accordingly, but there are also 
LOTS of BAD teachers out there in it for as much cash as they can get.    Let 
the market bear the cost of good teachers and let it sort out the bad ones, 
right now the bad ones are too protected.

Simplify paralleling wage to poor output isn't going to fix anything.  Simply 
increasing wage doesn't fix anything.  It's like printing out $300 to every 
single person and expecting it to solve all financial issues.
