So FAFSA, that can be handled electronically with 4 or 5 guys running the servers and some contract coders, we operate in a big data world, FAFSA application acceptance and distribution is no longer a specialty field. It can be folded into other departments. Students loans are simple, get rid of them, solve that problem altogether, send them to the banks for legitimate lending, since the student loan lending has been shown to be an abject predatory failure.
So good, we just eliminated the need for DOE, since thats all they do.
