I have a daughter that is a middle school science teacher. She even was legally required to keep info from parents when the trans counselor was involved. I think the schools encouraging this borders on sexual child abuse.

I think this just takes the heat off of the state school board. I agree, could have been done at that level. But you got lots of religious housewife moms in the legislature that cook up all kinds of bills. Some of them get traction. Yeah I understand they shouldn't but why does there have to be a law? Why can't the state school board just add it to there employee handbook and if someone does something else they loose there job. This adding laws for everything is becoming ridiculous. It will get to the point that they will have to change the standard of ignorance of a law doesn't excuse you from obeying it. Whenever it is no longer reasonable for someone to be held accountable for these as they are becoming absurd. So 6 year olds in an elementary classroom should be exposed to anything and everything in the known universe? Perhaps the teacher had a curiosity about Nazi and Japanese medical experiments? Maybe they wanted to fly the swastika in front of the class? Or stars and bars? Perhaps a MAGA flag? Little kids need to have full unadulterated dose of all things and concepts of adult life in grade school? <image001.png> Pretty much any and all regulations is simply bad. Why restrict people? Bill, this is the list of what is allowed (assuming the bill passes) in Utah classrooms: Teachers in their classrooms, and cities, counties or the state on government grounds, would only be allowed to “place a flag in a prominent location ... where the flag is easily visible” if the flag is one of the following: • United States flag • Utah state flag • Municipal flag • Military flag • Tribal flag • Country flag • Officially licensed public university flag • Official public school flag • Olympic flag Please tell me again why this is bad. --
