Also, remember this is based on flat ground, if you have a slope away from
the airport, you'll find it is either higher or lower based on the relative
ground elevation.

The location of our main office/router/core is actually above the glide
slope, because the ground slopes up enough from the end of the runway to
exceed the 50:1 or 100:1 or whatever it is at the distance we are.   So
even a short tower needs a FAA determination.
