I would say that you have associated a ".profiles" file to your topic but you forgot to select one of the profiles of this set. In your case, your profile set contains a single profile called "updated".
If it's not what I suggest above, then I have no clue because it works fine using the <XXE_install_dir>/demo/dita-sample/status.profiles demo.
