Good morning! I'm still on 6.7, but on the point of upgrading to 7.1. I've also
given three presentations in-house about the benefits of structured authoring,
demonstrating (of course!) DITA and XML Mind as my tool-set ...

question: I've been reading the 22 August 2016 "Easy Profiling" document ... is
the use of <status> as a profiling attribute new in 7.x? I don't see it in the
Change log

minor comments after I've been reading the 22 August 2016 "Easy Profiling"
document ...

* step 1 is Create editions.profiles ..., step 2 is Open {file} and associate
profile set ...
    I know what _my_ readers are like: they would complain that there is no
instruction "Save the new profile set" :-}

* I'd quibble with the assertion 'more useful than styling individual
profiles', which I think is obscuring the valuable option I'm hoping to use: I
don't need to use conditions for products, but I do need to flag both <new> and
<deleted> content in regulatory documentation

* the menu cascade in step 2 is incomplete: it starts from Conditional
processing instead of Topic
