Hi, I have never been able to post to the mailing list, I'm trying a different way in hope it will work (fingers crossed)

The reason why we currently have two seperate binaries is because i built 0.8b2 for PPC and Kurosu built a SVN version for Intel, so merging two different versions together would probably not have worked. But if we build the same version(e.g. 0.8b3) for PPC and Intel, i can make a universal binary with a single command on the terminal. > It however takes a fair bit of time, so it'll probably > won't be available at the same time as other packages. Building dependencies takes a huge amount of time, but if you have them already built it's pretty much just about doing configure and make, then add a few files, copy executable, copy data, run a makefile and run dylibbundler. it's not THAT long (though it could be improved, i agree). The real pain is the dependencies but you do that only once. > It would be best if a > script automated this, but I hardly have time to finish this. I could make a small script to ease building packages. However, making a script to build all dependencies would be a huge work and i think that would be time better spent on removing libxml++ dependency, and then i could write now mac OS X instructions that would be much easier. Any opinion? ì _______________________________________________ Wormux-dev mailing list Wormux-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/wormux-dev
