Btw, for some weird reason, which isnt well grounded yet, I have a reason to believe desync (at least part of it) problem could be based on po files.
What do you mean by "based on po files"? What I mean is exactly this situation. Let's say you and me are playing, you play by executing "wormux", I play by executing "LANGUAGE=bs wormux" In theory, this shouldnt really be causing any problems, however it causes HUGE desync, sometimes it even knows to display completely different map for you or me. So I suggest to, tell people not to run the game in other language then english until translations update is done or something. And yes, I'd suggest a freeze too, just allowing working on current files, fixing bugs, others can play with alpha or beta1 in meantime. I'd say fixing bugs will help this whole thing the most :) On 12/18/06, Eddy Petrișor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

What do you mean by "based on po files"? If you mean you want a string freeze? If not, I would suggest that: - - real string freeze - - call for translation updates - - allow approx. 2 weeks for updates In parallel, bug fixing can be done, which is a good thing :-) - -- Regards, EddyP ============================================= "Imagination is more important than knowledge" A.Einstein -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFFhqSxY8Chqv3NRNoRArPqAKCKTxoHceVbEo0nulEpuT1YirdXoQCfdEef qK8eP7+reKRtVNt9InzFnPY= =aTx8 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Wormux-dev mailing list Wormux-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/wormux-dev
