Odd, I just finished discussing this topic with a colleague less than
one hour ago. There is a lot of discussion on the web these days
about permanent magnets and work. There is no question that a
permanent magnet can perform work; but, there is a great deal of
discussion about whether there can be a net energy gain in any
magnetic cycle. If indeed there is a net energy gain in any permanent
magnetic cycle from whence does this energy come?

Soon, I hope to be placed in contact with Horst Stormer (1998 Nobel
physics - fractional quantum hall effect) to discuss the defense of a
European patent application for such a magnetic cycle. I actually
used Hotson's first treatise as a talking point for the electron being
capable of acting as a negative entropy pump. I am hoping that Dr.
Stormer can provide some insight as to the physical structure of the
electron (or all fermions for that matter).

It is conjectured at this time that a net energy gain in a magnetic
cycle may come from the angular momentum of half-integer spin
particles. A seriously outlandish idea is that a negative energy
photon is moved from beyond the zero energy point into our 3 space.
However, it would explain some experimental evidence of which I am not
presently at liberty to discuss.
