If this is considered proper calorimetry, we're in serious trouble.
I would suggest checking out http://fluidproperties.nist.gov/cvht.html
for a NIST fluid calorimeter or even
http://earthtech.org/capabilities/dual/ for example calorimeters in
which one could have a high degree of confidence. Would you recommend
making an investment based on Jean-Louis' heat measurements?
