You may not have a valid default password for the situation when your user
account is not logged in - this is a problem if you have run the service helper
stuff. Check that a password entry exists in the following registry location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL\WinVNC3\Default

There should be a binary value named "Password".

If there is not, log in directly as the account under which you set up the
password, then export the password from the following location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ORL\WinVNC3

Change the REG file header to point to the HKLM default location I mentioned
first, import it, and you should be OK.
