I've traded in other iPhones with Apple and had no problem at all, received the 
original quote I was given. And I do like the ease of use of working with 
Apple. However, as I'm reasonably sure I could've gotten something for the 
iPhone 13 Mini, likely even with my carrier, maybe I'll think about looking 
elsewhere next time, even if I do understand Apple's reasoning with this phone. 
What I don't like with the carriers, though, is that they spread that trade-in 
credit out over a three year period.
