On that note. I understand that Dave owns WWP, and WWP produces Late Show.
Presumably when Dave retires he will be the one to make the decision about
who replaces him - but doesnt that assume that CBS decides to keep the Late
Show? Can CBS just a title on a different late night show and hire whoever
they want? Or do they have some kind of longer term contract with WWP to
keep Late Show on the air past Dave's retirement.?

I think we can assume that if the decision is up to Dave, he will honor the
commitment and loyalty of Ferguson and give him the show, without any need
for public politicking or ass-kissing.
