The thing is, would Jon Stewart want to switch to broadcast? Even if the interviews are only six minutes (unless they're extended for online), "TDS" has been able to book authors and more serious guests than the OTA late-night shows would allow today. Would NBC allow him to book an author of a serious book for even a six-minute interview or would he be stuck interviewing the same guests as everyone else?
