I don't know anything about the plugins-API's or internal ways, can respond based on what i observe at a user-level.

There are plugins for reaper w. arbitrary inputs and outputs (max 128?). e.g the various plugins from AALTO - spartaAmbiDec etc. > Would it (as Ardour does) require the plugin to support 'in-place' > processing ? This is still a real PITA in Ardour: Sorry, I have no clue. Hopefully others with knowledge of Reapers ways could chime in here. Bottom-line: i used an existing plugin-version of Ambdec (lv2?) on another machine last year, found it on the net somewhere. Lost now. I didn't do a through test at the time, but i didn't notice any different output than the usual standalone Ambdec would deliver. -anders _______________________________________________ Sursound mailing list Sursound@music.vt.edu https://mail.music.vt.edu/mailman/listinfo/sursound - unsubscribe here, edit account or options, view archives and so on.
