I'm still here, reading the list digest every day...

The x/y panner faking a circular panner was the way of getting around the
tools that were offered by the programming environment, SonicBirth.

As for the distance simulation, it's more of a tweak that serves my
stylistic needs (and, combined with a good reverb, it usually does the
trick, so I'm told).

In terms of integrating code with an other software, that probably won't
work, since SonicBirth-made plug-ins (up to the 1.3.1 version of SB) are
in fact written in XML and that XML talks to a centralized DSP engine,
/Library/Frameworks/SonicBirth.framework on OS X.

So Yvan, available right now, you have indeed the plug-ins made by Bruce
Wiggins and others mentioned. As for my part, my plug-ins will be
re-programmed using SonicBirth 2, which, beside exporting VSTs for OS X
and Windows, automatically codes in C++. That feature could mean easier
sharing and integration with other software.

And while we have a Cubase/Nuendo coder here, man, do I have problems with
the GUI in the 64-bit version of Nuendo on OS X. See this Nuendo forum
thread: <http://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=194&t=37094>.

Regards,

Daniel
