Because you have to *learn* to be a system administrator somehow?

(admittedly, I hold with the view that it's best to try this, like all
wild experiments, on your home machine(s) --- it's hard to experiment
with, say, large-scale networking on there, but installing SA and
learning its foibles should be quite doable.)
