On Mon, 04 Aug 2003, Harley Peters spake:Spamassassin sets the default to 999,999 which pretty much makes DCC worthless. Only about 8% of the spam even ends up getting tagged by DCC.
The default setup of DCC is to report all mail (automaticaly) to the DCC servers. You have to whitelist any mailing list that you receive in order to prevent them from being reported.
... and it's kind of hard to see why you'd want to do that. After all, said reporting only adds 1 to the mail's hits, and you need >100000 or something to be considered spam.
I set it to 10 which increases the hit rate to about 33%.
