They do? Really? I ordered a T1 circuit from them on the 2nd of this month and they told me that they don't delegate reverse DNS to customers. =/
I got speakeasy to set up reverse DNS for all the IPs on our T1 last week.
You go to your My Speakeasy page, and select Ask A Question from the Customer Service menu. On the resulting page, select Domains from the Service pulldown menu, and then Reverse DNS Request in the menu under that.
Since they have a specific menu selection for reverse DNS, the person you were talking to was perhaps confused.
