Win 2000 vnc error. "rectangle too large..."
I can't seem to figure out why i get this error.
I'm set up with vnc 3.3.6, on windows 2000 installed as a service.
when using the vnc viewer (on three other machines) I can use it for about 10
seconds before it drops out. If I us IE to connect there

Check your modem MTU size - the wrong values in that make the packet sizes
too small (which stops VNC working).

There's another running thread on NAT routers, which is almost certainly
what your router is. Incoming connections come to your router, and
there's nothing listening on port 5900 or whatever. Forward the
appropriate port from your pc onto the WAN interface on the router.
