If you have an outside system, you could run an httptunnel, maybe. or, you could have an account on the vnc server system, with a .forward file redirecting mail to a filter which checks for a valid request, and initiates a vncconnect to the IP address specified in the message. fire up a listening viewer, mail your system and tell it you want in.
