goal is to have the possibility of selecting who can use my smtp
server (with smtp-auth) and who cannot.
What am I missing ??

My suggestion is that you download and try out QmailAdmin. Set up
a mailing list with that. Dont pick any funky options, just check
out the configuration for a straight-up, no-frills ezmlm-base mailing

I had put a server name OTHER than "localhost" in the vmysql.h file. When I
put "localhost" back in, it worked... I noticed this by telneting in on port
110 and say a MySQL error - though the logs did not reflect it (mind you, I
hadn't set the verbose flag at compil

qmail-send daemon when a domain is added/deleted etc. I haven't found a
solution , short of patching the code (and my C isn't good enough yet) but
if I use the scripts to stop qmail, then make the change and restart qmail,
the problem does not happen.
