My failure symptom is exactly the one described in the bug description:
- both after suspend and hibernation
- syslog, messages and kernel.log in /var/log grow to 2Gb in size and more
- they have listed a recurrent error message which starts with "bad: scheduling

access point.

Intrepid repositories do not have amule and libupnp2 depends on amule, thus
trying to install libupnp3 from intrepid repositories results in amule being
removed.
BTW I forced libupnp3 installation via dpkg --force-all (which however removed
libupnp2) and amule did not seem to benefit from this

I can confirm this misbehavior using nvidia driver on a nVidia 8400M card.
Latest kernel for Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.
Unfortunately mentioned workarounds did not work for me.

updated pm-utils 0.99.2-3ubuntu2 set a workaround for this problem.

I can confirm this.
In some in these last 4 days update (my last post was of 25th) this issue has
been somehow fixed for me too.
Now I can resume having the same ONDEMAND governor as when I put my computer in
standby.

I confirm this bug on HP Pavilion Intel Based laptop.
This is a long going bug since I experienced as far as in Ubuntu Gutsy. Now
using Hardy beta issue still occurs.
Switching back to OnDemand governor is, however, easy with the CPU
Frequency applet after having run 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure gnom
This problem is caused by mixed packets.
You have tk8.5 8.5.0.a5-3v1ubuntu0 and tcl8.5 8.5.0.a5-3v1ubuntu0 which are
from 3v1n0's repository and these conflicts with amsn from main ubuntu
repository.
You have to remove those external packets and then reinstall amsn with
its dependencies ONLY fro

Sysfsutils manages to give a successful output only when sysfs.conf is set with
only one scsi_host link tweak.

This is still an issue also for me.
Only new themes (Ambiance and Radiance) are affected. Clearlooks and
Human work as expected.
Light-themes version is 0.1.6.5
Bug #414353 seems somehow related, however with the following versions the
issue is still there.
