Intrepid repositories do not have amule and libupnp2 depends on amule, thus trying to install libupnp3 from intrepid repositories results in amule being removed. BTW I forced libupnp3 installation via dpkg --force-all (which however removed libupnp2) and amule did not seem to benefit from this (low id).
This time amule complained for the libupnp2 UPnP.cpp(87): Universal Plug and Play: error(CDynamicLibHandle): Unable to dlopen libupnp.so.2. Check PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Could it be that the maintainer compiled amule deb in a dirty environment with both libupnp2 and libupnp3? Just guessing... -- [hardy] amule upnp needs libupnp2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201624 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
