All of the games work now, with Compiz on and off - but it's a lot more

On Firefox 2, gmail really doesn't take up the full firefox screen but a
portion of it. When you switch back to firefox, you can see that, but a

I rebooted and the problem doesn't seem to appear anymore. I had my laptop
up (by suspending overnight) for quite a long while, I'll see if it happens

Gnome System Monitor crashes when starting

I think Ubuntu checks the "indication" part via MIME types. So if
someone made a .doc file, but set the mime type to perl, Ubuntu would
think that.
What happens if you cut out all text from the document (make a copy
first of course!) and then try to open it - do you achieve the same
effect?

I do hope that the behavior of this will be changed in the final
release. It's absolutely unacceptable, and I don't think people who do
use scim will find this aggressive behavior helpful either.

That means the gnome panel crashed :(. If it happens again, doing alt+f2
and "gnome-panel" should bring it back up.
If you manage to replicate crashing it, please let us know how do you do
it so we can see what's wrong exactly.
