Public bug reported: Hello,
I have a Belkin F5D7010, version 7 (or 7000, same thing). It's based on the Realtek 8185 chipset. The card, when inserted, is not recognized at all - it's not in ifconfig or iwconfig. I suspect the problem is because it does not get assigned a logical adress, and it just says * network UNCLAIMED. However, the vendor does have linux drivers on the website: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=1&PFid=1&Level=6&Conn=5&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true#RTL8185L I couldn't get them working, but it would be nice if they were included. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Belkin F5D7010 v7 does not work at all, while vendor has linux drivers. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178619 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
