you committed the source tree with unresolved git conflicts. The MP
should look more or less like [2] if I don't go wrong.

The Eoan debian-installer ISO fails to install GRUB on LVM installs with
virtio storage, as it runs grub-install with /dev/mapper as a target (a
directory), even if instructed to target a device.
The following steps to reproduce have been prepared running the 20190730
build,
I have to reopen a Focal task for this bug as the problem is happening
again with the live-server ISOs with serial 20200309: the snapd seeding
never completes (see screenshot). The latest Bionic image boots fine.
The Focal live-server images with serial 20200306 were working fine too.
