Thanks for the follow-up. While I know how annoying it is not to get to
the bottom of a problem, I'm glad to hear the issue is gone.
Since the issue can't be reproduced and we can't tell for sure if there
was a bug at all in the first place, I'm marking this report as Invalid.
Should you hit the problem again and come to the conclusion that it is
actually a bug in Ubuntu please explain why you believe so and change
the bug status back to New to reopen the discussion.
