Thanks for the follow-up. While I know how annoying it is not to get to the bottom of a problem, I'm glad to hear the issue is gone.
Since the issue can't be reproduced and we can't tell for sure if there was a bug at all in the first place, I'm marking this report as Invalid. Should you hit the problem again and come to the conclusion that it is actually a bug in Ubuntu please explain why you believe so and change the bug status back to New to reopen the discussion. ** Changed in: dovecot (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1834813 Title: dovecot mysql driver connection fails when connection string host is set to 127.0.0.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dovecot/+bug/1834813/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
