In Hardy alpha 6, my Thinkpad T60 brightness does not achieve maximum
brightness. When using the console I can increase it to max, but as soon as I
switch back to gnome it goes dim. The brightness controls do adjust the

Also having these problems. Manually trying to modprobe the module
saa7134_alsa results in a segfault. This is probably relevant as
although I get the segfault message, lsmod shows that the module is
loaded.

Forget this, I have it working in most situations now, it just doesn't
work outside of applications anymore. It works fine in all the important
places such as mplayer and mythtv.

I've noticed in Karmic alpha 4 there is no option to disable the
touchpad in Gnome mouse preferences dialogue.
It is there in Jaunty, any chance of bringing it back?

Hi, I am experiencing a similar issue with the new Lenovo Yoga 720 15"
that just came out (April 2017)
As far as I can tell the touchpad is not detected. I have tried all of the

20freaking15 (that's two years and 3 months and after the start of this
