i think i'm seeing similar problems on jaunty. your ppa sources install
fine, but the imon drivers don't work with the imon lcd on my antec
fusion black (as has been reported by others in the forum). trying to
replace lirc_imon.c with the cvs version gives a build error (inserted
below).
hi, just wondering if this explains why my imon remote doesn't work either (I
also have an antec fusion black). I don't care so much about the lcd, but
perhaps if it's not working my remote signals won't be transferred on to lircd?

thanks for the swift reply. I'm working with Jaunty, which seems pretty
different from intrepid with regards to this stuff. Not finding a lot
of jaunty users in that thread. will keep working at it. in the
meantime, i'll try this patch and see if I can get the lcd working...

I agree ths is a very serious bug but fyi note there is a workaround
posted in this bug already: in preferences --> Feeds, set ANY option
other than "ask"; you will then be able to at least subscribe to feeds
again. It's not perfect, but better than the completely broken status
we have now!

After recent hardy updates (sometime in the last 5 days I think) my laptop
(dell latitude d820) now boots up with the lcd turned off. fortunately the
acpi key for crt/lcd still works, so it can be fixed, but for an hour or so i
had no idea what was going on! i guess this

after a period of inactivity (not sure how many minutes exactly, or

I'm getting what i believe is this same bug in an almost-up-to-date feisty
(last update 8 march 2007). xorg dies with this in Xorg.0.log.old:

when building kernels from linux-source-2.6.20, the resultant packages
are enormous -- around 215M. have tried e.g. to simply use the default
config for the generic kernel, but no luck reducing the size.
