change the appearance.
BTW: I understand how you change the numbering. That works for me too.

Ok I finally found the cause for that problem.
When I move the mouse during the double click it will be recognized as a
"double click" and as a "drag and drop".
To reproduce this:
1. open totem
2. add multiple files to playlist
3. play file
4. click in the area where the video is displayed
5. mov
daily build section, and wiped my drive and gave a clean installation.
but of no use... even now fan is making same big noises.

Both arguments aren't that good either. You can leave that issue unfixed
- but it may be a good idea to have a look at vlcs source to find out

after a while I had now a look at gthumb 2.10.10 included in Ubuntu
8.10. Since I used an old version ov gthumb before I thought my version
did not provide zoom to fit.
Now I found out that there is a keybinding for zoom to fit (shift-x) in
my current version.

I discovered, that there are 2 different trash locations. The "~/.Trash"
directory which is used by (e.g.) gthumb and "trash:///"
(~/.local/share/Trash/files) which is used by nautilus.
Only "trash:///" is monitored by the trash applet. This problem is new
another note:
it looks like the reason for nautilus to open a new window is simply that it
crashes :)
BTW: sorry for all people who gets an email notification for every
comment. I promise that this will be my last post for this bug and I am
not going to bother you all again...

Sorry for my late reply.
I still believe that this feature is important - especially for users
with high resolution.
Example:
You want to look at pictures taken by a very old camera. Only one
quarter will be used of your displaz (1920x1200).
You will have to zoom in for every single picture
I upgraded from gutsy to hardy and I still have the 2.6.22 kernel and
for some reason when I run that kernel NetworkManager doesn't have any
issues. I'm using the bcm43xx kernel module. I haven't tried to
downgrade NetworkManager yet.

I had this same problem and realized that if i kept using 2.6.24-11-386
the nvidia kernel module kept working. It seems there is some
incompatibility with the nvidia kernel module with 2.6.24-12-386 and
2.6.24-12-generic both kernel images give errors when trying to manually
do a modprobe nvidia. T

Uninstalling "xubuntu-gdm-theme" does solve the problem for me. If your

I'm having the exact same issue, same hardware, just running Xubuntu
14.04 instead of Lubuntu.
I've tried everything suggested, nothing worked. :(

This is with Unity and not the application. This happens with any window
that opens first. Try it with, say nautilus or gedit as a startup
application and you will get the same result.
