using Dolphin, moving files with the cut-and-paste method does not work

I believe this problem is (believe it or not) related to the size of
Openoffice's toolbar icons. Try going into the View options for
Openoffice and change the toolbar icon size to large - it seems setting
the icon size to small causes Writer and Calc to crash.

Comment to say that the daily Feisty build from February 6 boots
properly from the CD with my network card plugged in. Looks like this
bug is limited to the Herd 3 CDs themselves.

Yes, I meant "PCMCIA" when I typed in "PC card". I've used this card
with Ubuntu 5.10 and Kubuntu 5.10, 6.06 and 6.10 and all of them worked
properly (the last two, their Live/Desktop CDs booted to X with no
problem with my wireless adapter plugged in).

Okay, after further hardware testing, I think I've isolated the problem
to my wireless card, a D-Link GWL-G630 PC card with an Atheros chipset.
When I tried booting the Kubuntu CD with the wireless card not inserted,

I just recently upgraded to Edgy and the problem no longer pops up. It
seems to be a Dapper-only problem...stll, should I send you a file

use the default browser rather than a custom defined browser (which I
