Public bug reported: Using Kubuntu hardy, and installed firefox-3.0 to try it out. However, I noticed that the program was themed differently than other GTK apps in KDE; instead of using the Sans Serif font as set in the GTK-QT settings, the program appears to use whatever the default font is set in the Content configuration for the browser (in my case, Serif). Changing the default font in Firefox then restarting the browser changed the browser's UI font to the new font I had selected. Seems like firefox-3.0 doesn't seem to play nice with the gtk-qt theme.
Steps to reproduce: 1) Start Firefox in KDE (3 or 4 doesn't matter, it happens in both). 2) In the browser, go to Edit -> Configuration -> Content 3) In the "Fonts and Colors" box, select a new default font. 4) Restart the browser. The browser's UI should be in the font selected in the Firefox menu. ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Firefox 3.0 uses a different font for the UI in KDE https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191777 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
