Confirmen on xubuntu 8.04, pulseaudio is not started at login. Found
some hints that xfce-mcs-manager shoul do this, but it dont happens.
Workaround: Start pulseaudio by autostart folder, but the login takes 1
minute now.

compiles well with M-A on ubuntu.
The ubuntu package wont compile like described above, reason unknown. So
the bug is fixed by workaround now, but this is no really solution.

The fpit do a well job to ubuntu 7.10 and now xorg restarts when
touching the screen. Can see heavy color effects on the screen before
xorg fly away.

Ubuntu Hardy amd64 2.6.24-18-generic
No automount and function with every usb-storage devices on intel ICH7
(i945) with ehci_hcd. Works slow with your idea in usb1.1, i suggest the
older bugfix that works here.

i can fully confirm this bug on hardy with 3.6.24-17-386 kernel. No sound
usable on the thinkpad t23 since upgrade to hardy.
But the described workaround fails while compiling. M-A hangs at stage 1 and
ends minutes later with error, please take a look at the attached logfile.

No printing at all to my edimax 3103. All protocols ipp, socket, lpd are
extremly slow with kernel 2.6.24. The kernel seems to block or break the
transfers to printservers. When using 2.6.22 on hardy, i can print with socket
and ipp to my edimax.

Finally tested with socket (raw) and ipp backend, both run in the same
situation. It seems th bug affects all kind of network printing
solutions from cups. Transfers a few bytes in hours to the printers, no
special errors seen.
This line appears after testpage in syslog, messages and kern.log.
