Confirmen on xubuntu 8.04, pulseaudio is not started at login. Found some hints that xfce-mcs-manager shoul do this, but it dont happens.
Workaround: Start pulseaudio by autostart folder, but the login takes 1 minute now. Hint: If xubuntu should not use pulseaudio, then the alsamixer should appear as alsamixer and not pulsemixer.
