Im having problems with a new USB2.0 PCI card.
(for use with RH8.0 or 9, Linux kernel 2.4.19 or 2.4.20)
This is a (relatively cheap) two port device, and the manual (such as it is,

page of specs, 5 pages of windows screen dumps), says that
it is an OHCI device.

Someplace in the Install process, it looks like fdisk (or something
similar) writes 'Labels' to the partitions on the disk, and then
uses these labels in /etc/fstab.
Other than /etc/fstab, I see references to these labels during the
fsck during the boot sequence.

I have backed up to the point where I see it cat'ing the Postscript to the

The kghostview in kdegraphics-3.1-5 is broken.
The one in kdegraphics-3.1-4 seemes to work just fine.
The symptoms are that you CAN NOT choose a page to display

Not a good start.
The response I got to this message refers to the up2date
THAT I JUST INSTALLED, and it does NOT MENTION the problem
that I mentioned. The new up2date-2.8.39-1.7.2.i386.rpm
does NOT WORK with gnupg-1.2.0, it doesnt 'find' it, even
though its in roots PATH.

altering XF86Config already, but always t

Just move /lib/modules/2.0.32 to /lib/modules/2.0.32-old,
go to yout linux src directory and just run make modules_install again
this should solve the problem.

There is a file , /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/defconfig which is loaded as
default in case there is no .config file in your ..src/linux directory,
but probably you should go through the cofiguration and read the help, and
decide what you need.

shouldn't be less stable as the one that redhat supplied.
