The good LFP batteries all tell you max charge/discharge rate and that
in their specifications. Cascading of batteries usually widens these rates.

Yep I have seen them up in Napa on a small lake. It seems
very risky in the Caribbean. The only thing I want on a roof is gutters for
rainwater. You can tell I am biased. Maybe someone else has better info.

the Resu 10H are going to take some time to replace near 30KWH.

Also adding in that sending old equipment that has been in the sun for 20+
years to the 3rd world may not be the best thing for these people. Many
solar panels last a very long time until they are removed! Intermittent
equipment is the last thing they need ! I have been involved with used

I have done this also! I do have respect for Darwin. As long as a school
bus full of kids is not anywhere near the well and it does not sound like

Often when the fan fails it is caused by the thermistor on the PC board
that has failed. That is why Outback wanted you to buy the PCB. The
battery temp sensor is probably fine and you can check it reading the
temperature of the battery in one of the menus.

connecting a different inverter to the generator.
Are you sure the generator is staying connected and outputting qualifying AC?
There are set-points for bulk and absorb and they are the same right?

On Schneider gear if you program the bat capacity to zero, the unit will
run the full absorb time. If you had a 1000 AH bank programmed, at 2% of
the 1000 ah or 20 amps into the battery the unit will go to float. I do
not see this as your problem though!

I will just say I am not a fan of mixing systems. I am not saying this
would not happen if the system was all Outback.
The solar charge source is not in the network and that is an easy step to
eliminate from the beginning at design.
It also takes alot of the mystery out:)

I use the 3 phase 600vdc disco from SquareD. It does have a fuse kit but
I try to keep 2 strings max on each mppt-80-600 to avoid fuses. With that
disco you could have 3 mppts. Use one inside the building and one outside.

Anyone can get them on the internet. They are very good batteries but need
a SOC battery monitor built-in. Too much work and too much error when the
battery manufacturer does not do this. Simpliphi has the BMS, bluetooth,
wi-fi, or meter something Puleeze!
