I am trying out an insulated box and small heater. It doesn't get very cold
in West Coast scotland so 120W seems useful. Also automatic vents used on
greenhouses, to open up the sealed box.

Just to clarify the set up:
The SSR controls the AC power from the inverter to the heating load. It
switches partway through each half cycle and thus controls the power to the
load.
The input to the SSR requires a power supply 8-32 V present all the time it is

don't have experience with this product. It has a 12V aux output that I wish to

is to put in cross bonds to link the strings at each battery or cell
terminal. That way a single cell cannot affect the whole string, it
just pulls down the cells in parallel with it - which are a lot like
an extension of the same cell i

Not sure how clever a wizard would have to be to figure out all of
the circumstances in such cases but it does not take long to load and
test a new configuration on site in good test conditions. A few more

Hi Hugh, When discussing battery characteristics with a chemist at
my supplier years ago I was told the capacity at 0 deg c is around
50% of that at 25 deg c because the ion transfer rate
on of such
devices after a few partial charge swings up and down over period of
days. So the reality is that we rely on inverter LBCO settings or
rules of thumb such as "never let the voltage drop below 47" to
ensure that the batteries do not get abused.
