If there's a big enough group, we can get a reservation for a group
campground. Meet at RBW and ride from there, perhaps?

I really enjoy hearing about your far-flung Riv adventures. We only
have coyotes around here (occasional mountain lion). Do you have to
worry about tigers on your S24O's?

Nice find. I would have paid that price for the gruppo and re-sold the
frame.

Is this an auction? I'd give you $175 for it.

Frenetic but cool! I'm surprised you didn't pass more people at that
speed. ;-)

not on a fat-tired machine, and most of the MTBs had front or
dual suspension. Pretty cool! I was going to race it but am still
recovering from a cracked rib, and, being a mere mortal, I would have
used my mountain bike, albeit a rigid one.

I can't compare them directly to Ex Officio but they are really
lightweight nylon. Still tough, though. I use my knickers for a lot of
mountain biking (including occasional falling) and they are holding up
great. I also do errands in them a lot. The elastic keeps them up fine
for my road riding. F
It can work with one of these:

There are others like it from other manufacturers too. Not that I
would do that to my QB.

That's my set-up too. I have found the Time ATACs to be the most
comfortable clipless pedals for me; they allow lots of float and don't
provoke hot spots. Recessed cleat MTB shoes are very walkable; I need
that when I'm pushing my SS MTB up steep hills.

I had them on my QB until I switched to fatter tires. They rode well
and I got lots of compliments. I sold them at a swap meet and actually
had dueling bids for them. The guy who won was going to get rims to
match for his fixie. I'd use them again if I hadn't tried Jack
Brown's, which are my favor

Thanks Gino for the route and planning.

O.K., I'll pencil it in and look for a smaller chainring. ;-)
