I stopped by RBW on my way home from work to pick up a couple of items. While there, I saw the Roadeo prototype with decals. Very cool looking. Also, it has been switched to a quill stem and bar-end shifters. Mark said they are getting a Roadeo with blue headtube soon, and that will have blue highlighted decals. He will build that one with threadless stem so they have one of each.
This past weekend Mark road in the Tahoe Sierra 100/50, a MTB endurance race that starts near Donner Pass. Mark won his age group in the 50-mile version on one of his Riv cross-bikes. He was the only one there not on a fat-tired machine, and most of the MTBs had front or dual suspension. Pretty cool! I was going to race it but am still recovering from a cracked rib, and, being a mere mortal, I would have used my mountain bike, albeit a rigid one.
