So many beautiful paint jobs here! Thanks for the insight everyone! (I'm
dreaming of a new Hillborne in October with maybe a matte, Cherry Red paint
job similar to the Rodeo images they have on the site today :)

Hi all. New to the group, and new to the 26.8 o.d. seat-post size. Also
newly realizing that the seat post diameters of most rivs aren’t compatible

Super long shot here but I'm wondering if anyone has a smaller, older

Happy to pay a good price up front.

With chromoplastic fenders such as SKS, I use zip ties if there is no
mounting point on the frame. Like so - the zip ties seem to last pretty
much indefinitely - on that particular bike, the fender has been mounted
with those ties for about 20 years. You can see that on this particular

Look forward to seeing this built up. I put some attempts at improved

I am curious. As someone who has owned both an older Homer and MIT Homer, I
was wondering why you wanted to buy the older Homer. I had a similar quest,
and my experience was different than my prior expectations.

Alfonso,
I am tempted by the Atlantis. Luckily for my bank account I am usually able
to talk myself out of buying a given Riv by the time they actually go on
presale and once they're sold out it is beyond my control :).

Hello Drew, thanks for you message. I shall try and call Riv to discuss my
size. I've sent them an email but haven't heard from them in 3 days, I
guess they're super busy.
If you don't mind sending the photos directly to me that'd be great. Thanks!

I've been thinking a Homer might be the thing for me for a little while now.
And a ride this week confirmed, at least in my head, at least in theory,
that this is something I would like to pursue with more gusto.

I happened to see the email right away and saw the proto when it was still
for sale. This was also the version of the roaduno that I was hoping for.
True single speed frame, vbrakes, big tires. I knew it would sell quick,

Here is an eBay listing for a kit of fender hardware. The chain stay

Hi Kim,
It was only the cutting off the end of the grip that I was not happy with. The
method I described works great, looks just fine to me, and is not at all
uncomfortable. But thanks for the suggestion.
