You may know already, and forgive me if you do, but for the longest, I
didn't know: Schwalbe tubes have the bonus feature of a removable

Wow...go figure...my X100 is arriving Friday. There's a carnival near my
apartment this weekend so my first shots will probably be there - lot's of

I asked about climbing because this is more or less in the neighborhood...

Sounds like you have a new objective for 2012!!!
I do enjoy climbs but I'm still quite slow. If you think a ride is worth
doing, don't exclude it because there are climbs. If all works out well,
I'll be able to do an absolute maximum of 5 rides, with 3 or 4 being more

I'll throw something next time I've got a couple of hours to ride those

Pictures would be great if you are already planning to do them. A few
recommendations for longer rides would also be welcome, although I'm not
entirely sure myself how much time I'll have available, but I'll have
flexibility to at least go on a longer ride. I'm attending the meeting of
Let me know if you want longer routes - I don't know how much time you will
actually have for riding so I didn't do any long ones. You can find plenty

It's too bad that while I'm visiting Honolulu you'll be visiting San

Hi all,
I'll be going to Honolulu on May 4-9 and would like to get some
afternoon/evening riding. I'll be taking my BF Llama. Can anyone share some
good places to ride, maps, routes or be around to come and ride with me?
I'll be staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
Thanks!
