Here's one I just mapped. It's a nice waterfront city ride that will take
you from your hotel along the waterfront to chinatown, loop back through
the heart of the old red light district, the state capital, Iolani Palace,
and then take you back the way you came. Stop at Aloha Tower for a bite to
eat.

There are some bits of sidewalk, shared bike path, and road in this...it's
NOT a training ride or a go fast ride. Basically I do this route (more or
less) a lot both get around the city and for sunset views. Some of the
places on the route don't show paths, but they are there. I ride 'em all
the time. :-)

You'll get great views of Diamond Head and you can make bike porn if you
like...this image which I've shown here before is on this route:

This is one of the two or three easy tourist rides I take folks one to see
the city.

I'll map an "around Diamond Head" route next.

I wish I were going to be in town, but I'll be finishing up my Oregon Coast
ride and flying into San Francisco for a week while you are out here. Rats!

Aloha,

Bob
