That reminds me. I've also got a narrow strip of duct tape around the
base in back for extra security. I do this for almost all my blinkies

I had been using Ruffy Tuffy tires and am pretty sure I could have
used Pasela 28s with no problems. You might want to look into those

I've been using the PB Superflash for years now, on my commuter and
for brevets with no problems. I live in Portland and it rains here a
bit, they've held up fine.

The Ram takes 37s without fenders, and 32s with "normal" fenders. The wooden
fenders you see around sometimes require 28s for tires to fit.

have a dynohub as it is so bright. The old DiNotte's rubber banded

The Mars 4.0 may be brighter, but they are both very bright. I like
the mounting hardware and options on th PB much better. I would go so
far as to say that the Mars is really best in applications where you
can just use the clip. I keep mine on my most used messenger bag and
keep the PBs on the
I have been using the Princeton Tech Swerve for the last few months
and like it. One cool feature is it comes with two mounting straps
one that is big enough to go around the seatpost and a smaller one
that works on the seatstay. Mounting is a snap, it bright and it has
steady and blinky modes.
